Hydraulic oil cooling applications require an understanding of the oil type to ensure that the thermal performance is met. They usually require an extended surface in the tubes as oil does not give up the heat easily. We have a range of surfaces to meet the needs of this cooler group.
The size, design pressure, and applicable specifications will dictate the construction of these coolers. They will mostly will usually fit into ‘sound engineering practice’ category due to the fluid being a liquid – Unless ASME, API or project specifications determine otherwise.
These coolers are mostly made from either carbon steel or stainless steel depending on their operating environment or client requirements. They can be diverse in relation to their construction and technical complexity.
